The Tsukino Family
Tsukino Ikuko - Named after Naoko's mom, Ikuko is Usagi's mother. She is usually seen serving tea and desserts or reading the paper. She is first introduced in Act 1.
Tsukino Kenji - Named after Naoko's dad, Kenji is Usagi's father. He is a working dad and is first seen in Act 3.
Tsukino Shingo - Named after Naoko's little brother, Kenji is Usagi's annoying little brother. He is first seen in Act 1 and throughout the series, wielding insults at Usagi all the time.
Classmates and Friends
Sakurada Haruna-sensei - Usagi's teacher. She tends to be upset with Usagi often for a number of reasons- lateness, bad grades and bringing Luna to school are a few.
Yumiko and Kari - These girls pop up here and there during the series, but they do not play a major role.
Umino Gurio - The class nerd, he always has the best grades and the info on everyone. He is known for his gigantic glasses.
Osaka Naru - She is Usagi's best friend that we meet in Act 1. She gets attacked by evil, but Sailor Moon saves her.
Naru's Mom - Owner of the Osa-P Jewelry store, Naru's mom is firsty seen in Act 1 when she is tied in the basement and replaced by an energy-stealing monster. Osa-P is actually the nickname of Naoko's friendly editor, Osabu.
Sarashina Kotono - Kotono attends the same private school for girls as Rei does. They are good friends, and Kotono admires Rei as much as she admires sci-fi. (I believe Kotono is actually named after Usagi's voice artist, Kotono Mitsuishi.)
Furuhata Motoki - Also known as the cute arcade guy. He works at the arcade (owned by his father) and has a sister named Unazuki, a waitress.
Endou - Motoki's good friend. He is replaced by a hypnotized Mamoru in Act 11, who then poses as Endou. He is kind of geeky and wears coke-bottle glasses.
Nishimura Reika - Reika first pops up in Act 11. She takes an interest in stones and minerals, and she is the first to notice Endou isn't the same geek she is used to seeing.
Asanuma - Makoto's friend, who has feelings for Makoto and a high level of respect for Mamoru.
Grandpa - Rei's grandfather is in charge of the Hikawa Jinja. Right now he is probably asking Naru, Yumiko, and Kari if they would like jobs at the Jinja. ;)
Momohara Momoko, Sorano Gurio, and Sarashina Kyusuke - ChibiUsa's classmates. Gurio is like a mini version of Umino Gurio, Momoko is friendly and Kyusuke likes to make fun of ChibiUsa.
Ami's Mom - Ami's mom is really pretty. She is first seen in Sailor Moon SuperS. She is a doctor and is very rich.
Ami's Dad - Ami's dad left when Ami was very young. He is an artist and every year on her birthday, he sends a postcard.
